If you're asking the question as to whether you should build in a failsafe it sounds like you might not be ready to go. Why you would give yourself the chance to back out if the goal is to ctb? I'm curious.

22nd of July but then I'd have to wait even longer to get euthanized and the pain is so bad this is torture/fucked up

Yea, I suppose it wouldn't even be the final appointment? I'm guessing the clinics are usually good at delaying. You said it was your third or fourth appointment aleady? Anyway, I'm sorry that you couldn't get faster through the process.
