Up until 2 weeks ago I used to be in this groupchat with a bunch of people whom I considered as friends
Except, 2 weeks ago, I had to temporarily leave the groupchat due to some physical health issues. And during my short little leave, one of my closest friends (who I've barely interacted with for a while) decided to spread a bunch of false claims about me- claims that are so baseless and lack examples and proof. And yet, everyone believed the claims and have blocked me. It's so so stupid and unfair. It's so unfair because all I've ever done for that gc was be a people pleaser and basically do a lot of favors and give a lot of random gifts and contributions to them . And yet. It all takes just a couple baseless claims WITH NO PROOF to convince them that the very nice person they've been talking to for half a year is actually a terrible person.
Ugh...
To just really put it into perspective, this is the accusation WORD FOR WORD:
*"i am not sorry for being negative AT TIMES towards shade. they have been doing ts and causing problems ever since we STARTED this gc. they made me feel like absolute fucking shit and they gave me ways to hang myself,, not to mention that when i first got with Dahlia they told me something like us not being a good pair or a couple or something like that,, and that still fucking haunts me because theyre older than me and i used to make myself believe theyre right
they were so negative to me in vc sometimes, i was always trying my best to join vcs and talk alot in here because they kept telling me can u be active can you be active can you vc??? and i cleared my schedules. so many fucking times for them,, just so i can please them and in return i get treated like absolute shit. its not just me whos having this happen too
not to mention!!!!! theyre a fucking groomer!!! they groomed Ivory and threatened to kill theirselves if Ivory went to SLEEP. I was there and I witnessed the entire thing. I will never be sorry, and I'm actually thankful they even left the group chat,, I will never forgive them for anything even if I got begged to by the most important people in my life. And yes, PLEASE send this to them if you're gonna fucking gossip about ts, I assure you if they were that mature they would accept and take the fucking criticism."*
It's all baseless bullshit and claims of events so so soooo twisted that they become an unrecognizable abomination . And yet. With that and NO PROOF, NOR EXAMPLES, everyone just went y"eah okok yup, all of that is true no doubt, not doing to question how it differs from reality".
After everything I've done for them. Making projects for them. Helping them with their mental health. Literally so so many favors. And spending wayyyy too much of my time on them, they decided that some baseless accusatory paragraph is enough "proof" for them to dislike me... "guys guys the sky is not blue, it's pink!" "OH YEAH you're totally correct and im going to ignore what reality looks like and agree with you yeah!!"
It's so terribly unfair. Being kind, helpful, spending so much time, doing so many favors, and yet...
I honestly have no idea what to do now. I need advice on what the hell to do next
These people have been my only source of interaction for half a year. What do I do now.
Do I just accept it and move on? Try reasoning with them (I already wrote a 7k word document explaining the situation to them) more? Take revenge of some kind??
Nothing will ease my mind now
