You need a plastic bag in order to be successful, NOT A MASK.

Also read through wikipedia how this method work physiologically, that way you understand what is happening with you.

Final exit AND peaceful pill handbook are very good at inert gas method.

Not really maybe

Quite a dangerous picture someone put together and i would hate seeing one actually doing it as the picture portrays.

First of connecting the tubing with hot glue and tape is obviously not really reliable, it may work but a good tug and it may come right of.

The suggested helium tank on the picture is ballon time helium, which is notoriously famous here as the 80% helium only and is not near enough of purity.

The CPaP mask pictured doesn't provide a good enough seal to keep outside air from contaminating the low oxygen environment.

All these flaws combined of the suggested method would probably only result in you sitting and feeling stupid, nothing other than a faster heart rate would come of this.

This is a very common fallacy I see online, people think just because something CAN kill you that it could be a viable suicide method. Could this kill you? well I'm sure someone has died from this but the chances don't seem high enough to seriously try it

as others have already written, the mask should provide a tight and sealed fit to the face, so an oxygen mask is not recommended, it is described in the PPH, i do not know about the CPAP mask. i am also sure that with the mask you need some kind of reservoir for gas accumulation so that there is enough to inhale

You have the exact same kind of tank from Ballon time? If so it's not suitable for our needs, they put 20% air to keep people from ctb.

I have since surrendered them to a therapist, but they sure resembled this product. It's been some time since I did all the reading and I did this all very impulsively but IIRC the volume was a bigger issue even though I'd believe 80% helium isn't lethal. Just what I remember. The reason I surrendered was the volume.
