Consciousness is carried by different wave frequencies, the elementary building blocks of our brain aren't constrained by the skull. they slip through. The elementary source of consciousness that we know, our brainwaves, they're EM waves. our skulls are permeable. As our consciousness is a series of wave functions this provides a possible explanation of out of body experiences/ astral projection and remote viewing.
Robert Monroe was the father of out-of-body experiences and astral projection. After having had out-of-body experiences for more than 30 years, Monroe discovered that our reality is used to create and harvest what he calls 'loosh' energy (negative, low vibrational energy). TLDR: When you die and see white light with your loved one or Jesus or something, dont go because it's Satan or space animals or something and he'll reincarnate you, instead try and turn around and walk away from the light
edit: I am guessing you will see them since what I copy and pasted is probably bullshit, the most likely afterlife is heaven and hell and I dont think you change appearance in Heaven or Hell
