Did conquering your personal space helped out in any way?
I just love being all by myself and, thankfully i have daily opportunities to be alone, but still at the end of the day i always end up having my mother and her husband in the same house.
I have the impression that if i get or rent a place of my own, then my mental health may improve a little.
Being all by myself relaxes me quite a bit.

I does make a lot of things better for sure such as not being aggravated by other people. Can bring other issues though

It depends, if the parents are good and caring that would be a positive thing, if they are controlling, noisy or one of them is abusive in any sort, in that case being alone is a salvation

^ that

and...

If they're mostly quiet and don't get a lot of visitors, you might be better off staying.

Being alone but responsible for every meal, trash out, home maintenance, cleaning, bills, neighbors and any other issues can become overwhelming. Especially if you're stricken with anxiety.

I'd love to "take a break" at my sister's, brother's or mom's place BUT they're all so damn social. People in and out constantly. (They live in vacation

Yeah, much better.
when under my parents roof, "it's my roof, my rules".
When it's your roof, it's your rules :).
I think bills are the least stressful but I have a partner who brings more to the table, that's why.
it would be harder alone and with minimum wage.
I do not miss childhood at all. its a different type of freedom being naked and watching Netflix and eating hot Cheetos at 1 am or just getting in the car to eat Carne Asada fries for breakfast. It's having to work and deal with the outside world that's more stressful. But coming home to your very own world can make it worth it if you deal your cards right. Get high get drunk, sleep eat whatever you're into :).

The financial stresses can make your mental health issues even worse if things start to go wrong. Debt is a huge factor in the suicides recorded in the UK. So whilst its great to have your own space and live how you want to live, you really need to work out just how much disposable income you actually have. Add up all the outgoings, dont miss anything, then what do you earn/receive. Whats left is yours to clothe yourself, go out with etc. Anyone who says you dont need that is not living in the real world.

Hopefully, you can afford your own place. Its a great feeling spreading your wings and becoming independent and could have a very positive effect on your mental well being.

It certainly worked for me, a long time ago. And it is a liberating life changing experience. Make the best out of it.

While I'm currently in the situation of having to move back to my parents' home, I can speak for a time where I was self sufficient. In 2019, (this year) I officially started working and earning my own income without having to rely on parents financially and had been living away from home for a long time (several years). To answer your question, I did feel better in some aspects, but also life sucked in other ways as well. I was a virgin until I went to Amsterdam (October 2019) and I had other stressors going on. Aspergers is still a part of me as well as the existential dread and daily grind, just how life is. So in short, while I don't have parental pressures and other worries, but yes, I still had other things (personal goals to attain) that brought me misery and the like.
