Firearm suicide : which gun to use ?

Gun suicide is said to be risky.

But are there not firearms of big caliber so powerful that they explode the head so well that one is sure to 200% not to miss ?

Because just press a button to finish, it remains attractive.

The only reason shotgun does not have a 100% success rate is because some people merely point it up vertically under their chin (which is VERY bad.) So long as it is pointed at its proper place then you'd have nothing to worry about as a 12g shotgun is plenty overkill.

Provided you do it correctly (which isn't difficult), yes. The shockwave is what really does you in, not the projectile itself. Just DO NOT point it under your chin.

What angle would you use?

In the mouth, pointed towards the soft palate at a 45 degree angle. A 12g will not fail you.
