After another night of backing out of partial, I decided to see if a thinner string would work for ligature strangulation. And... It does! I'm using a shoestring. It was an old thread here that gave me the idea. I can hit carotids easily and fast.
I have a bandana around my neck for comfort, shoestring on sweet spot. I cross the ends of the string in the front of my neck like you are getting ready to tie your shoes. Then pull as hard as I hard as I can, as fast as I can. I'll loop the string around the back of my neck pulling as tight as I can, then tie it off in front keeping as much tension on the string as I can.
If I'm not back on tomorrow... I'm probably gone. I'm considering adding a trash bag over my head to make extra sure.

I'm definitely sure I want to CTB. I just had issues with partial being uncomfortable. My body wants to lay down when it starts passing out, so the SI was very hard to overcome in partial positions. But this I can do in bed then just lay back. I still don't like feeling, really, but it's not painful. I just feel stupid drunk, spinny...
I think if make sure it's as tight as I can and tie it off it will do the job. Right now I just keep pulling it as tight as I can trying to get used to that woozy feeling.

I'm pleased for you that you finally feel more confident in your method, as I know how desperately you wish to be free from all suffering. Best of luck.

Do you happen to know what the shoestring is made of? I'm assuming it's something strong like nylon.

Thanks OP. I also managed to get the carotid arteries whit the shoestring, i had tried to do that before, but gave up. It worked just below the Adams apple. I would kiss your nips if i personally knew you.
