I thought I was getting better for a while, but I was really just getting dependent on the people around me....again. Now that I'm forced to be independent, I want to CTB again, but there's a difference between now and how it was before. I finally feel at ease about the decision. It's about 10% fear of death, 90% comfort for what's to come. I've never felt this good about the decision before.
I'm not exactly sure of my plans yet, but by next month or so, I'm pretty sure it will happen. I'm considering jumping off a parking garage. It seems statistically effective, and relatively quick, even if it's not painless.
Wish me luck everyone.

I can imagine that it must be such a relief to feel at peace with your decision. To me the thought of not existing is very comforting. I hope that you find what you are looking for. Best wishes.

it sounds like you have some confidence in your decision to ctb. since you aren't planning to do it right away, are you going to consider any other options, or have you determined that jumping is simply the best option for you?
whatever you do, i hope it goes smoothly.

I don't think I'm considering other options. It seems relatively quick and effective. I just want to give it a couple weeks to make my final decision.

If that's your way, that's your way, I guess. It would never be my way. You could be found relatively quickly, since it's a public place, still alive, and given medical care, which allows you to survive, albeit in bad shape. Maybe in bad enough shape that you might not be able to try again and will have to live out the rest of your life in this "new reality". I'd do more homework on jumping from heights, if I were you.

The height I was looking at is about 8 stories tall. I read that a fall from higher than 7 stories has only about a 10% survival rate, so that seems pretty much in my favor.

I guess it does bode well, as far as a method. Not to discourage you, but know that no method is 100%. In the end, we all have to do what we have to do. If you do follow through, I hope it goes the way you want and you find your peace.
