When you go to CTB what music do you think you'll listen to if you do listen to music. I don't specifically have a song yet but I'm probably going to listen to the album Melophobia by Cage the Elephant on shuffle.

Ever since I've felt like killing myself I have lost interest in music. I regret taking big pharma bullfuck and The damage those shit chemicals cause. Holy fuck am I ever in bad shape, should take a pharmacist out before I go but it's probsbly a waste of energy

I have this 'songs to die to' playlist.
It's essentially a bunch of bittersweet or down right sad songs that I would like to have playing softly in the background as I fade in to oblivion.
I like to think they would bring a small measure of comfort in the final moments which, no matter where you're emotionally I believe will still be frightening.

Ill listen to all the songs that reminded me of him & our good times. I cant hear them now casuse they trigger major ptsd symptoms, it will be safe only to hear them as i am dying

It does getter better in that case, I can't stop you but people are nice and I know others will be nice to you, I have constant memories of old friends but even my new friends are just as nice. As I said do as you please but others feel as you do <3

Im not sure what you mean by your reply... just need a bit of clarification. Did you mean the PTSD gets better? What do you mean by "but others feel as I do.." Feel like suicide? Just want to understand. I am killing myself over the loss of a guy and I feel like I can listen to the songs that remind me of him until I am taking my last breths

Today I was listening to Unkle's Farewell, Missio's Bottom of the Deep Blue Sea, & Massive Attack's Paradise Circus. Depressed the hell out of me, so I'm thinking I'll play happier music, like some 70s pop. You can't be sad listening to America's Ventura Highway or Seal & Croft's Summer Breeze.
I've got a collection of Jewish masterpieces played on the cello, and my final song will be Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah but a Yiddish translation of the song.

i was gonna listen to my indie playlists (with some sprinklings of the cure, the smiths, and other darkwave/post-punk bands). i also wanted to reminisce on the past and play some of me and my ex's songs we had for each other. it would've been musically bittersweet if i ended up going through with it.
