Failed, but trying again...

"Night-night" method didn't do so well. Tape was never tight enough and getting out of it was a pain in the butt. I'm going to wait for the ratchet to arrive and use that since it's seems to be more reliable than tape for the method. If I fail again I'll have to find another method. I got some parts of SN but not the antiemetics. I'm desperate enough to do it without it. Why must they make it so hard for you to kill yourself?

We feel your disappointment. Sometimes our desperation and urgency makes things harder because we can't think or plan properly. You are pretty new in this forum, less than 5-6 days. I strongly suggest you spend some time with us, gain perspective on people's issues and their reasons, see where your own problems stand and then decide what's best for you. Rushed attempts often lead to failure, frustration and possible half damage to the body. You always have the freedom to do what you want and when you want. *hugs*

I got my ratchet today. I should've used it in the first place instead of tape because it'll be a lot easier to tighten or release (if I don't pass out). Doesn't make too much noise (which will be cancelled out by the distance and the YouTube videos I'll be playing in the background to relax). More confident I'll be successful tonight.

Night-night method. Basically using a ratchet to tighten around something (cornhole bags is the example used) to cut off blood flow to the brain where you will pass out then eventually die. Supposed to be a painless way of CTB.

Interesting. Haven't heard of it before. I'll check it out. But if painless and much easier to get than other things users have mentioned it sounds promising. Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear you're struggling to find peace, love. As for SN you could always look for Dramamine non-drowsy (Meclizine) as one of our past SS members passed away using it. Some people throw up even following protocol, but still pass away. Something to keep in mind.

That is not true, a member succeded last Dec 2, 2018. But no, tried it myself and only got major headache and socks glued with tape

I think it's more of a partial suspension type method. If you search on this site against the video id, it seems quite a few people have referenced that video.

BurningLights did it, it seemed so easy to him that he could almost faint with only his fingers but yes, nothing I would advise to CTB.... no, you are right about that, unless you do know anatomy, chances are failure and pain...

I understand your mindset, but in those last moments people are probably in a deep state trying to weigh up whether to proceed or not, and I don't think a joke is really going to help, but I suppose it depends on the person....
