Eye colors

Man, I don't know why but I'm fascinated with eye colors. Each is very unique. Eye colors is probably the only thing I like about the design of humans lol. I don't know why but the mix of colors and the way it looks is really captivating me. Eyes indeed really tell many things, ''eyes are the window to the soul'' i absolutely agree with. And then there's heterochromia which is also fascinating.

I want to ask, what are your favorite eye colors? Mine are green, grey and blue but I also like light brown eyes (amber I think it's called). Tho I wish we had other colors like: red, purple, pink etc.

But...

Fun fact: There's been one person in our history who had violet eyes that being actress Elizabeth Taylor. (well actually she had dark blue eyes but being exposed in some angles they were looking purple).

Favourite is dark brown. I thought about this before, I am attracted to certain skin and hair colours for whatever instinctive reasons, but for whatever reason the most significant thing in all those colour things for me seems to be eye colour. The darker, the better (if I have to pick from that image, nut brown). My customised game characters have different hair and skin tones, but they always have the darkest eyes available. My own eye colour is blue.

Have you heard of iridology before? It's an alternative medicine where a practitioner reads one's iris in order to determine their state of health and history. Never got this done so i don't have any opinion about its efficiency but it sounds interesting.

Btw, i think my eye are chestnut!

I've always found eye colour an attractive quality in people. If someone has a really striking eye colour it always catches my eye, no pun intended, be it in person or in a movie or show or something. My eye colour is somewhere in-between chestnut and chocolate according to the chart you posted, maybe russet? I like the more "colourful" eye colours myself (green/blue) maybe because I have brown eyes but I also find them attractive too. I don't know, it's an immutable quality that you can't control so I don't put too much stock in it but it's fun to think about I guess.

I have brown eyes and I think that is my favourite colour for eyes. I do quite like the sound of the eye colours of purple and red. In general, I do not particularly like looking at pictures of eyes as I cannot do eye contact and I feel like I'm being stared at.

I have eyes that are brown, I don't know what brown. Sometimes they are really dark and sometimes really light. My favorite eye color is almost black, when you can just and just see the pupil.

my eyecolor is somewhere between amber and chestnut. i like nutbrown / chocolate eyecolors.

people with blue eyes i mostly find repulsive. the lighter the blue the more repulsed i am.
light blue eyecolors feel like dead or insane people for me. they also represent some aggressiveness for me.

doesn't mean i dislike people with this eye color. its more an instinctive feeling i sometimes have before i get to know the person.

Lol I actually really love blue or red eyes even though I myself have a boring dark brown.

I don't like making eye contact but the thrill of it does excite me sometimes.

That's a really interesting and uncommon eye color. Love it.

Mine are basically grey...or as the chart suggests: gun metal blue (but a shade darker)

I have no eye color preferences but I'm always intrigued by people with either very dark or very light eyes. Also on of my exes had heterochromia which was such an "eyecatcher" haha.

I've also always been very fascinated with eye color! All eye colors are unique and so every person is interesting in that way - and I don't think any color is ugly. My favorite is probably ice blue. I agree with a previous poster that it can make some people look a little deranged, but I like that, it's an interesting look.

My eyes are green but that sounds boring so I've been trying to pick a shade. I'm open to any one except "slimy".

My eyes are forest green, but lighter. That's the closest I can come to describing the color. But ever since I was a little girl I've always wished I had dark brown eyes. I think dark brown is soooo beautiful. I had purple contact lenses in the early 2000s...that was fun. Interestingly the lighter your eye color the less vivid colored contacts look when they're in your eyes, so the purple wasn't as striking and obvious as I'd hoped it'd be; had I had brown eyes the purple would've really popped! Still you could see the purple well enough and I LOVED those lenses. I'd do it again but cant wear contacts anymore due to dry eye.

ETA: Overall, I love all eye colors and especially in context with a person's skin tone, hair color, etc. i.e. light-eyed/dark haired people are gorgeous to me, as are very pale-skinned/dark eyed/dark hair. Eyes to me are just beautiful in general.

Mine are honey brown, but my favorites are electric blue, sky blue, sea green and emerald green. I used to have violet contacts..gorgeous. I lost them :(

I love eyes too. Especially when you see the iris close up- so many colours and details. I probably love blue eyes the most but I find all sorts of eyes beautiful.
