  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I have been experiencing the following symptoms: My right head and neck area feels weird like it is aging faster than normal and or deteriorating. I have difficulty looking to the right like I'll try to look 60 degrees to the right but only end up looking 30 degrees (it is the opposite when looking to the left.). Also my right eye moves around in weird ways and feels like it can't focus on anything right. I also get pains on my right side. Important note that I do not have these problems on my left side. Additionally I notice when I hold something in my hand I feel a sense of awkwardness and confusion like I can't think straight.

These symptoms make me feel like shit. When I talk to anyone in my family I get no sympathy which also feels awful. I hope I can get some forum to show me some sympathy and help me feel better. Perhaps I can be directed to another forum that would be able to help me better with this. But most importantly if anyone could help get me to the appropriate doctor that would be great. I went to see my primary care doctor and he was very unprofessional about it. He thought that my symptoms were solely because of my attitude and thus gave me a referral to see a psychologist. But I truly don't think so. I feel like it may be an underlying neurological condition creating these symptoms. I expressed this to him and he reluctantly gave me a referral to neurology, but when I try to call that place to setup an appointment, I am unable to schedule. What do you think? Do my symptoms sound like I am neurodivergent and have and neurological disorder? An eye doctor might be another good option.

These symptoms need to be addressed and any input would be appreciated.

hey my sympathies go out to you that sounds really frustrating to experience.

i have had bad experiences with doctors as well. have you tried going back and forth with chatgpt with how you feel and your symptoms? it may be able to narrow it down to a couple causes or let you know the best place to refer to. it's actually underrated and much better than a doctor outside of physical testing/imaging on your body IMO.

i would keep trying to make the appointment with the neurologist since you have the referral. is your pcp on the older side? change your pcp if you sense they are not taking your symptoms seriously. you can do internet searches and AI but you can find symptoms that say anywhere from migraine to a stroke. you will ultimately need a doctor to diagnose properly and receive any needed treatment.

Sorry about that and not finding much sympathy on your family.

That said, although you may be reluctant to it I would give a try at the psychologist, at least so you can discuss if it may or may not be something psychological.

Remember that our mind may play us tricks and may have us believe something that's wrong or even as an example... A psychological pregnancy literally makes the changes on there physical body as it was REALLY pregnant, even producing milk.

It may very well be neurological as you said, but maybe giving the psychologist a try ends up in a referral from them to the neurologist!

Also, What's the reason they gave you to not be able to book an appointment?

This might be a dumb question, but do you sleep on your side? And always the same side? I had something kind of similar when I was younger where my right side of my face was getting all wrinkly and stuff, and it sorted itself out by sleeping on my back/switching sides every now and then.

Maybe I am just dumb and misunderstanding the issue, but maybe it's something similar?

I have tried chatgpt and it often mentioned the possibility of a neurological disorder. It and Microsoft copilot said to see a doctor for a proper evaluation.

I was very disappointed with the visit with my pcp and yes he is in his 70s i believe. He wanted me to go to the emergency room which I don't think is appropriate for my symptoms. Didn't understand why I am visiting because he doesn't do neurology, but I do have reason. I also strongly think it's incorrect to say my symptoms are solely due to attitude. I do think it's one of the causes but not the only one. It sucks because hes a well respected doctor and my mom takes what he says to heart, but he handled my visit poorly as I'm sure he has handled other visit poorly. Definitely need to change pcps.

Yes, my problems my symptoms have also have a psychological root. I think psychologists, neurologist, and eye doctors all can play a role in helping me. Psychiatrist may be better than psychologist but I can start with the psychologist.

I don't know why I wasn't able to get an appointment but while trying to get an appointment on the phone they hung up on me.
