As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

That sounds horrifyingThere was this guy with locked in syndrome literally begging to be euthanized in any way he could communicate and the court still wouldn't allow it lol what a joke
I found his name (Tony Nicklinson) and apparently he died soon after court denied him peaceful death, he just gave up and stopped eating or got pneumoniaThat sounds horrifying
So you want people with a terminal disease to go through a long process before euthanasia is approved?True and it should be a long process so people don't abuse it, truly suicidal people will go through the process cause they have made a concious decision
No, only the mentally ill.So you want people with a terminal disease to go through a long process before euthanasia is approved?
Ya its only for terminal illnessIn the U.S. it's legal in several different states such as New Jersey, California, Colorado, Hawaii etc. but I believe it's only due to terminal illness. (I'm not sure) I wish there was more education on the topic of suicide though.
Yeah, exactly. If euthanasia or assisted suicide was legalised so that we could peacefully end our lives in a clinic, we could die and use our organs to help somebody with treatment so that they can get better. There are so many right now who are suffering because they need a particular type of organ but have to wait months or even years to get lucky with an organ donor whilst there are millions of suicidal people per year whose organs get wasted due to poisoning or drowning or the fact that death by suicide requires a long post mortem analysis. If euthanasia was legal, people can kill themselves peacefully and also donate their organs to those who need it so that they can potentially recover. By making euthanasia illegal, both the suicidal people and the people requiring an organ transplant are losing.Honestly I don't understand why they don't legalize it in more places. The less people that exist, the less resources are used and so those resources can be used for people that want to live. Also some amount of the people who want to die also don't want to give a positive effect on other people so wouldn't it be in "society's best interest" to allow them the ability to die peacefully? Obviously I don't think you need to positively contribute to anything or anyone as long as you are not hurting anyone to continue with life as we were forceful created here.
So you want people with major depression to go through a long process? People will commit suicide before the decision is made. You see the dilemma? In Belgium you can get euthanasia because of 'unbearable mental suffering', but you have to be 'sound of mind'. You can't have people requesting euthanasia during a psychosis or mania for instance. No, only the mentally ill.
This is complicated . There are people with depression who can get better with time and the right treatment . Im not one of them but others canSo you want people with major depression to go through a long process? People will commit suicide before the decision is made. You see the dilemma?
