In the depths of sorrow and despair,
I find myself lost and unaware,
Of how to live without your love,
Now that you're gone, my heart feels shoved.
Every moment of every day,
I'm haunted by memories that won't fade away,
Of the way you smiled, the way you laughed,
Of the way you loved me, and the way we danced.
Now I'm left with nothing but pain,
As I struggle to move on and try to refrain,
From thinking of you every waking hour,
Of the love we shared, and the happiness we devoured.
But as I lay here in the dark,
I know that I've lost my one true spark,
And nothing can bring back the love that's gone,
Leaving me to forever mourn.
