is one of the reasons why I am here.

Life is a never ending battle and I am simply tired of fighting 24/7. You always get eaten by something bigger than you. It could be the state with its taxes, some thug in the street, your boss, some rich guy or some animal.....why bother? You can save yourself all this pain.
If you can not win a battle do not fight it.

You should really look into Efilism. It's a branch of antinatalism if I am not mistaken. There are some fundemental truths hidden in that philosophy.

I've posted a few InMendham videos and also the movie Efilism but received no responses or feedback.

Perhaps you will have better luck.

InMendham turns off a lot of people with his attitude/abrasiveness so I thought the movie would be a better introduction to this philosophy, but I received not a single comment or like.

Have you seen the movie by Oldphan? It's incredibly well done.

Evolution appears to be a perverse and cruel experiment . "let's see how long they can survive ". "let's give life the ability to feel pain so that it will be compelled to survive. " Clearly there is something very wrong here.

I love how InMendham describes life—we are vessels for the DNA molecule which is one hell of a stubborn molecule. I can't wait to kill mine!

I'm antinatalist, and I've never heard of eflilism so I'll check that out. Bringing life into this world is very fucked up, and i can't think of a single good reason for it.

Do you guys think it's only human life which is inherently tragic? Is an animal in nature unwittingly doing wrong when it breeds?

This world is brutal and we shouldn't continue. We just struggle and suffer for nothing at the end. Bringing others to this shit is a very bad idea

This is a link to an English translation of the Norwegian philosopher Peter Wessel Zapffe's The Last Messiah. It's a good read on the subject of antinatalism. :)

I would elaborate my thoughts better but I'm a little drunk (nothing unusual LOL) so...

I think that the main source of suffering is, beside consciousness itself, the relationship with other conscious beings.
For one individual to feel a little pleasure others have to suffer incredibly. This, to me, seems a rule generally valid for all conscious life forms on Earth.
Think about it. For a lion to eat and live how many zebras, buffalos and wildebeests have to die brutally?
The lion gets to eat (little pleasure) but the prey suffers phisically and psychologically before dieing (immense suffering).
And this is for non-human animal-animal relationship.

What about human-animal ones? Again for little pleasures (eating meat/eggs/dairies, producing energy etc.) a lot of suffering is spread (animals tortured and killed, pollution etc.).

Same for human-human relationships too. This is the most obvious to me. Slavery, Feudalism, Colonialism even the fact that for, say, Jeff Bezos to be a billionairse tens of thousands of Amazon employers have to live with a wage barely sufficient to live decently.

I mean, you have to be blind not to see that that's how it works in 90% of cases. All of this shit keeps going on because we're either more or less indifferent to suffering or we directly take pleasure out of it (hurting other people/animals on purpose).

The whole idea of conscious life is sick, creating it is mild psychopathy.

All life is tragic, @Armadillo explained it best above.

He wasn't necessarily "destroyed" but even supporters agree he wasn't at his "best" in this interview. He's flummoxed, and grasping in many places as his emotional equilibrium rises vs Benatars cool, calm and rational philosophers logic.

I still don't understand why Peterson is running around debating actual philosophers but I guess that's off topic.

I remember that you posted about the movie "The EFIList" 2016.
Is that Oldophan who produced it?
I liked the movie. It was a good representation of efilism.
I haven't heard of someone named Oldophan. Perhaps you can give me a link to this movie produced by him/her?
