Method Efficacy of armpit stabbing?

good afternoon SS!

of course this isn't my preferred method, but i've heard that in the old days, navy sailors would stab a man in the armpit if they wanted to give him a humane death. i was thinking if i got high enough, i could feasibly get myself to "take the plunge"

i hear that standard time to die after that is like 20-30 seconds. if i cant find any other methods would this be a decent resort?

Idk.. seems like a stretch. Id definitely research it some. If this is a reliable method, why haven't I seen it on here before

seems like a bad idea, its gonna hurt like hell, wayyyy too likely to fail and its going to be terrible to heal and just live with if you do fail. also very possible to lose your arm over this (as in being able to use it)
