it all looks to I don't know boring enclosed by 4 grey walls !! I'd rather go out surrounded by natural beauty in a woodland in Cumbria like xanex (spelt wrong on purpose) or on a mountainside

I've never been surrounded by so much death until I came to this forum. Watching her go so peacefully... It's mind blowing that the process could be that simple when so many of us are leaving the hard way and having to deal with so much extra trouble.

that's what makes it so fucked up. We're doing all the dirty work and risk for a unreliable and potentially painful method and she gets a guaranteed peaceful death with just a simple cup. Shits not fair man.

I would just like to be in comfortable surroundings, and have it be quick and painless and certain, not scary at all.

Dignitas may be an option for me (I am in contact with them) - I think it would be the best way available. I just watched the movie Me Before You (he dies at Dignitas) and yeah, that's the way.

I am glad she had a peaceful passing. I am jealous and a bit angry, because I have to have a bad exit while such a peaceful way to die exists.... but she was old and probably sick ... and if it had to be me or her I would just given her the bottle anyway.
