I hear its quite a peaceful way to go, you gradually get sleepy and fall asleep. Iv ordered a load of iv catheters in different sizes. Once connected to a big vein in the arm, unscrew the plug and the blood comes out like a hosepipe. I know as I slipped out of hospital with one still attached last week and must of lost about a pint of blood playing around with it. Definitely a lot less painful than slitting your wrists either crossways or lengthways.

I strongly suggest looking up a recent thread (I can't remember the discussion it was in) about this topic...where the person relates their experience cutting wrists to bleed out. After a time, due to blood loss, blood oxygen became so low that breathing became almost impossible and excruciating pain arose due to lactic acidosis. Fully body horrific pain, the person wrote.

I'd make sure you fully understand the method before embarking. Make sure you do it so that it's as comfortable as possible. He bled so long that dying became too excruciating, and he called 911. That story made me really look more into the method...to make sure you understand what the experience is truly like.

Pain can't be any worse than taking over 500 ibuprofen tablets last weekend and refusing medical treatment. Been vomiting up blood repeatedly this week after I stripped my stomach lining, pain is so bad, it often causes me to pass out.

You'll also need to make sure that your vein doesn't clot and block the flow. It's going to take a while to bleed out completely, more easily if you're taking a blood thinning medication. Just things to consider.

Please look after yourself.
Could you perhaps get some treatment for that ?

And then perhaps do some planning to pick a more peaceful method ?

If you puncture an artery, the femoral is probably easiest to access, you will pass out within 30 seconds. Bleeding out is reportedly not painful.

This sounds lovely....unless you are terrified of needles, such as myself. I gotta applaud anyone who has the nerve to do this because, just thinking about it? One of THE most terrifying thoughts in the world. At least for me.

Yipes...that sounds like hell. I had thought about that method before, but if that's the result, no way.

I tried this with needles, not actual catheters, and my blood would clot up even with blood thinners. I could never get the blood to flow longer than a few minutes. Maybe with catheter needles it will keep the vein open better?

Also, I am the one who tried to bleed to death. If you lose a lot of blood really fast, it can kill you quickly and you will suffer minimally.

If you lose blood really slowly, you may pass out eventually without the excruciating side effects.

I personally cut one artery and multiple veins in my wrists and arms and experienced a painful bleeding out death.

the guy saying bleeding is plainful and you cant breath its not correct. Its more about getting dizzy till you die and from the diziness you dont bother the breath

As others have said, clotting is a concern for sure. I've seen people clot during a blood donation and that is a huge needle. The blood flows fast, though. About a pint in 5-7 minutes. A heparin flush would help with clotting unless you're unconcious.

This is not going to be quick or painless. The problem is that as the bosy loses blood, it loses blood pressure, which slows the loss of blood. The easily accessible veins and arteries in the arms are relatively small, and they don't provide enough flow rate to allow a quick death via blood loss. Think about how long it takes to donate blood, using a vein in the arm - slow, and slower as more blood leaves the body.

The only fast options I'm aware of for this kind of suicide are the carotid arteries, the femoral artery and the heart, and all of these are risky and painful. There are documented cases of people going unconscious in seconds from a transected carotid artery, but failure means visible scarring for certain, and a high chance of damage to other neck structures (damaging the voice box, resulting in muteness, for example). The femoral arteries are bigger, but deeper, and I read a case study about a doctor who killed himself this way - he injected himself with a local anesthetic and opened up one of his femoral arteries with a scalpel. The problem is that the femoral arteries are fairly deep, and accessing them involves cutting through enough flesh to be painful and difficult, along with concerns about permanent damage to the muscles and ligatures in the leg. Finally, the heart obviously requires the most forceful, deepest blow, and would not be at all painless.

The proper way in all these methods is with a sharp knife, not an IV or needles, which brings up the problem that it's harder to cut raw flesh than most people think and much, much harder than that when it's your own flesh. I would seriously advise that you reconsider - this is going to be a lot harder and more painful than you think, and is not a very common method if self-deliverence as a result.

I guess you know this already, but ibuprofen won't kill you. The one that kills you is Tylenol, but it's slow and really painful. You may have an ulcer and liver damage. IF this kills you it will be very slow, and likely be due to sepsis. I recommend medical care.

Mate, I almost bled to death from a surgery in May and I'm still recovering. I was an in shape guy who took good care of himself. I couldn't open a door for 2 months.

Fine if you succeed, but horrible if if you fuck up and survive. Bouncing back from blood loss is a bitch and a half.

0/10 would not bang with someone else's dick.
