Drowning must be really unpleasant. Almost in line with immolation.

Not a method I would use as I find drowning to be terrifying.

I don't think I could do it - it sounds horrifying. Coughing underwater as you breathe in water, gasping for air but all the comes in is water that makes you choke..I couldn't do it.

Do u plan to do it in a lake / sea ??? SI will be very bad in drowning I guess ... So things may get very bad even f u manage to jump in the water..

Just wouldnt want you or anyone here going through that kind of end.of course its your choice though. Si would be awful. Have you looked at every other method on here ?

Tried partial which failed but think it's effected my brain and has caused lumps on my neck

Of course I can't find the link now, but I've seen a table that ranks the most common suicide methods by suffering, and drowning is near the top. :-( I've certainly considered it, but I don't think I could bear that amount of suffering.

Yes, thank you! According to that site, it has a success percentage of 63% and "agony rating" of 79/100.

Unfortunately it's still the main/only method available to me at the moment :(

Very painful but it could work very well. It's up to you to decide whether or not the discomfort is worth it.
