For example forcing the US to start a war against Iran.

I read now some constructions of the mainstream press how the US stumbled into war. It seems like Tucker Carlson tried to convince Trump not to do it. But Trump seemingly said after Netanjahu called him "He had no other choice." The official narrative in the mainstream is silent about potential blackmail.

I enjoyed watching the Breaking Points interview with John Mearsheimer.

At minute 14 Mearsheimer says Israel and the Israel lobby led the US into the war. Lindsey Graham coached Netanjahu how to convince Trump to go to war with Iran.
At minute 17 he talks about potential blackmail and that the Israelis might have compromising information of Trump. There is no hard evidence for that but this development makes it likely.
(By the way the Epstein files were hacked.)

I have the feeling there is a missing piece in the mainstream narrative. Why was there no other choice for Trump? How did Netanjahu force him?

Trump is not blackmailed by anyone. These conspiracy theories have no evidence, but people believe in this garbage like a religion.
