After reading of so many failures, i don't know what to think. I think SN works but the chances are around 50/50. Its not a very reliable method. If anything, there are more failures than successes. Makes me sad.

It shouldn't fail if the potency is correct and you need antiemetics to prevent vomiting.

It's like alchemy. It tries to transmute a live person into a dead person but the results are questionable.

@GoodPersonEffed has documented this extensively, I believe. If I'm not mistaken, most of the failures reported on this site are due to human error - either altering the regimen in some way or not guaranteeing that you would be alone long enough with being found by a family member. When I read of people who have followed the regimen and taken the proper precautions, they typically succeed.

Are you talking about Stan's regime?

SN is a very reliable method and if you follow Stan's guide and don't get found, it's almost 100% that you die.

If you really examine the info, you'll see most of the failures involved some amount of improvising or user error: substitution or omission of recommended meds, changing amounts, guesswork, impulsivness, poor planning, getting discovered too soon, calling for help, etc.

It seems pretty reliable when the guides are actually followed and common sense is used.

I do not have prior attempts,
but imo it all comes down to not getting found and taking more shots if you throw up.

it can't be rocket science.

Vomiting seems to be the main problem. Metoclopramide tablets and syrup, or domperidone (like Equidone gel for horses) may be obtained without a prescription through pet supply sources, and that is how I intend to try obtaining them. (i have barely been out of the house since I joined here, so I haven't had the opportunity to go shopping at my local Petco store yet.)

On my body, in permanent magic marker, I may scrawl the words, "Fuck You!" on my chest and forehead before I CTB, so everybody who handles my corpse has to read my sentiments about this world.

If you do the method properly the science behind it is sound. Failures are probably human failure and outside factors (e.g being found in time.)

As long as you follow the regimen and make sure you're not found, SN is pretty much foolproof. All the failed attempts I've seen are due to human error.

People have died from accidentally tasting it. There's no way it's 50/50.

With no access to antiemetics, and maybe being generally anxious, there are two things that worry me at the moment:
1. Vomiting after passing out with no chance to re-dose.
2. Our natural ability to reconvert methemoglobins into hemoglobins.
Could either of these or their combination lead to waking up with some serious damage to my health? I believe no such case was documented, but I wonder if I would still have the resolve to go against SI and re-dose. At the least I would definitely make sure the dose is there (in a closed plastic bottle so I can't knock it over by accident). Probably over thinking it. Any opinions?

I don't know where you're getting 50/50 odds. That's way off base.

And as for your claim there are more failures than successes...I won't even touch that one.

Please don't make baseless claims like this on here. We don't need any more fear mongering.

There's no 100% effective method. You could shoot in the head and there's a small chance of surviving too.
However, many people have sucessfully CTB with SN so I'd say its an A-OK method. I even saw someone die by SN (it took him 30 minutes and he didn't seem to suffer that much)
