I never thought I'd actually post here, always kinda thought I'd admire from afar and maybe post my experience with sn when I finally ctb. But I just cant help but be curious, has anyone else just waited for that last moment of hope and never got it? I guess I'm weak the more time goes on the more I just resign myself too it but I guess I'm just curious as to when everyone realised the pointlessness

If it gets better you will tell others, you will tell everyone that there is hope and it always gets better, that u were in the same hopeless situation but now you know that it does get better. If it doesnt get better youll die waiting and wont be able to tell someone

The likelihood of things getting better is the same as things getting worse imo. And if things do get better life throws you a curve ball and you get knocked down again.

As others mentioned. This is a flip of a coin. Like if I was to meet my past self, I would say it got worse. But this x, y, z is why and how to get around that.

It's all about the choices you make and how they can change your future in unforseen ways.
So as an example, a small thing might be drinking beer once. My sister currently is a drug addicted and an alcoholic. She abuses everyone. She gotten involved with some of the worse humans (human trafficking, murderers, etc). She did a lot of illegal stuff which got her on plenty of list. The fact is, I can pin point this down to her drinking beer when she was 14 with her friends, which got her into drugs to start with. If she refused, and did what most thinks to be the right thing. Then those "friends" would've had nothing to do with her. And that means she wouldn't had access to drugs, and outside of maybe a few other things later in her life. Her life would've been 100% different. It is the butterfly effect. But there is no way of knowing if and how it will change your life.
