Does footage of this exist? Or is there none on the Internet?

Not that I've seen but would be interested, why do you need it (the footage that is)

For me personally, seeing people die puts me at ease and gives me more confidence to do it myself. It gives me the strangest sense of bliss

Um. Okay? I don't know who you are or why you'd even have a problem with that. Did you forget what site we're on? No wonder you'd have a "rapidly lengthening ignore list" if you're so easily offended

I too like to see a method actually being used. I want to see it before I try it. If one wants to use a gun, for example, they might feel better after watching Bud Dwyer fall to the ground dead instantly upon shooting himself with a .357, where it doesn't look like the poor guy suffered any.

Declaring a desire to watch people die plays into the hands of those who oppose this forum. It lets them claim that it is populated by ghouls and sickos.

I think that there may, indeed, be one or two of them around.

It can be excused, to a small extent imo, by watching as a genuine learning process and warning to people who genuinely intend to end their lives in a similar way. The example of Budd Dwyer is instructive; although he collapsed instantly, he seems to have fired upwards into his mouth causing an exit wound which might be more or less centralised in his parietal bone. The bullet must have tracked well away from the medulla. The complete video shows that his eyes are open at the moment of collapse and then close comparatively slowly.
I am suggesting that death was not absolutely instant, poor man .

Reminds me, by the way, that Reddit banned the SS sub but still had a sub called watch people die until March of this year.

(I actually thought it still existed but just discovered they banned it now.)

"...watching as a genuine learning process..." Young chimps learn faster than human infants, except in one thing - copying what other humans do, which seems plausible. This could point towards a market niche for suicide actors.
