Does anyone here want to ctb in a hotel?

I'm planning on doing it in a hotel because my house isn't accessible due to my parents being there (can't have them traumatized). That's why I've come to the conclusion to do it in a hotel when the time comes.

I am aware that I might traumatize strangers. That's why I think I should do it inside the bathroom then stick a note on the door that says to call the police (and an apology from me to them), so that none of the workers from the hotel get traumatized. Also I'll be adding cash to, you know, lighten the burden I guess?

Is this a good idea? I don't really have other options so far...

You'd really need to be sure whatever you're doing wont be loud or make you become loud. A hotel will definitely cut you away from your parents, but not the rest of the world. I personally prefer complete isolation, but I understand that's not necessarily available to everyone, especially if you can't drive.

And for the record, your parents likely will still be traumatized just by you offing yourself in the first place. Not as badly as seeing your corpse unexpectedly, but you can't go into taking your own life and expect the people who care about you to not be fucked over. Not saying don't do it or anything like that, but you must accept its gonna hurt them regardless.

I understand that it will still leave them traumatized no matter what I do. But I just can't imagine myself to live normally with me being depressed and anxious always. It's very tiring ahahah
I guess I don't want them to be extra traumatized...

From what I understand about SN, that should be a rather peaceful method; not very loud and not too disturbing to see like a firearm or even hanging.

In the end, with any method, somebody will find your corpse no matter what you do. Again, I think the note will definitely be helpful so nobody is completely surprised, but I can understand why you'd rather have some poor hotel staff find you as opposed to your poor parents. Again, I prefer isolation, but I totally get that isn't an option for everyone.

At first I thought of renting a different apartment for privacy. But then I realized that I don't want to leave my body to rot. And there's this possibility that one of my parents would come to visit. Imagine their shock when they see my disgusting corpse. And I can't drive due to my terrible anxiety.

I plan to leave a note right at the door, on the inside. A big warning on a white paper sheet about my dead body, either on the floor, or in the nearest wall depending on the layout of the room.

Yes, I will definitely be going to a hotel when I have all I need to ctb. I just couldn't do that to my BF - I have promised not to do it at home. I'll be causing him enough pain, I don't want to add to it by forcing him to find my body. My only regret about it is that I'd really love to spend my last waking moments with my cat in my lap, purring away but that's not going to happen. I'm just trying to spend as much time with them as I can now.

I ultimately decided NOT to ctb via gun shot to the head, but when I was considering that, I knew I'd be in a hotel room and really thought about how I could minimize the mess and trauma for those who found me. I figured doing it in the hotel tub or shower, possibly with some kind of covering over my head could make it a bit easier to clean up. But again, I've since decided on a more peaceful method.

when I had a plan to ctb- I was going to put blankets and pillows in the bathtub. Put a note on the bathroom door- suicide inside only ems or police enter. I would drink my sn and lay in the ub with the pillows and blankets and go off to sleep.

As a parent- yes it would traumatize them much more finding your body. It will still traumatize them. I'm a total mess since my son died in a car accident 3 years ago

Oh I'm planning to just lie down in the tub! Ima just put some comforters, blankets, and a bunch of pillows there. I reeaally don't want to vomit in a hotel bed...makes me feel bad ahaha

Right??? I always think that a tub filled with pillows and blankets plus a comforter seems comfortable! I'll make sure to bring lots and lots of pillows! :'D

Have y'all been reading my mind? ha!

These are the things I've been thinking about. I've decided the hotel works best for me (but I might change my mind--who knows) I plan OD and I read that my substance of choice will cause seizures and strokes, while getting to the Rainbow. I fear my body might flail around on the hotel floor causing a concerning noise (could be heard by other guests) and I could get discovered by hotel staff, before I'm there yet. There's a hotel nearby that I've stayed in a couple times, that I'm considering. They rarely have many guests these days---that might be beneficial.

Any of y'all thought about being discovered and interupted by hotel staff, when you're unconcious?
