I stumbled upon a chain of older threads and I saw many old members talking and interacting with eachother with so many of their names now crossed out.
I miss so many of them.
I totally get what you mean, it's almost like they're frozen in time, their colorful personalities, their passions, their taste in media, hell even the way they spoke. I just wish i got to know them more and say my goodbyes when they left.Yeah, it's spooky. Seeing vivid personalities interacting, but they're ghosts. Especially if what you read is relevant and helpful and reveals a new side to that user, but it's too late to say thank you. I still like/love the post. It's very sad. It's weird to see people arguing in the past as well, it's a passionate memorial. It's weird how people had normal discussions and were really involved in the community, but the struggle was always running parallel to that. I search for certain past users and read things they wrote. I didn't even know anyone that well! Dreading bonding with people now, ha.

I can't see "last seen", even on crossed out usernames, I'm on mobile maybe this is why?Yeah and also I take a look in their "last seen".
but how do we know for sure they ctbed? Maybe they just changed their life and stopped logging in here? Or maybe they are trolls?
Not saying they did not ctb but how can be sure? There is even a poster in this thread with username crossed out.
