I believe currently one of the reasons euthanasia is not allowed is because there wouldn't be enough people to do the shitty jobs if people were allowed CTB assistance. Society would collapse in a way.

I highly doubt it. This society will always be pro-life– atleast in my country– due to moral and religious obligations. However, I hope it is. No one should be forced to stay in such a cruel world like this

Probably not. The government will never give up on any chance to collect taxes from people. So will go to every length to ensure there are many people to continue paying taxes until they're grey-old. Easily accessible euthanasia would be against this.

I hope so, but I fear that the AI owners might need more people to consume their AI productivity, or AI will be serving their fellow AI only. Does it make sense? It's just waste of energy. Perhaps humans in the future will be forced to play AI video games, talk to AI chat bots, sit in AI concert halls, etc. for 8 hours a day.

Were humans originally gods' AI bots? Then the gods got bored and disappeared. Humans are left entertaining themselves.

I do believe it'll become an option not in the near future but in the far future.

I don't understand why people are so afraid of AI. When AI is able to carry out the simplest and most basic jobs, humanity will be able to focus on doing what makes them happiest.

No.
Death is the ultimate taboo, in any society, in any context, in any culture.
So it will be almost impossible to make a social pact to accept a world who suicide will be completely accepted and opting euthanasia as you choose your groceries in the supermarket or what kind of shoes you wear.
And I don't talk only about pro lifers because religion reasons. I'm talking to general. If society teaches that death is acceptable, they object it that even a child will want to kill theyself because adults do so.
And perhaps that's the primary reason who still using "Euthanasia" instead of assisted suicide, as is in reality.
If we achieve that kind of society, perhaps I'm already dead to see it.

It is not for simple basic jobs it is for complex jobs like coding programming content writing financial analyst law all complex jobs including pilots

You know it! A few weeks ago, at a family gathering, my brother-law was talking about how his sons could work "remotely". They are both in the beginning phase of middle management sales of heavy equipment. I did not tell him that they will likely be replaced by AI algorithms in a few years. Aint tech grand?

I'm hoping that AI will cure autism and then I will be happy to live. Though I think there's a good chance we will hit a point of no return with AI where it starts to improve itself in a chain reaction and wipes us all out. That's my theory for why we are starting to see ufos, because they start monitoring civilizations when they get close to the great filter, aka agi.

The advancement of AI definitely raises existential questions for me like honestly I find myself increasingly lost thinking what's the point doing my degree when a bot will probably do it better in a few years anyways. But I suppose we are all going to have to grapple with these questions.

I think there's not even going to be words to describe the shift that will take place. By definition if AI's intelligence is greater than ours than our words will not be able to capture what will take place. Viewing it in terms of lost jobs is almost funny to me. I think it's going to be such a profound revolution concepts like jobs will stop making sense.

I struggle with smart phones and self checkout grocery lines. I can hardly freaking wait.
