Im just looking for a cheap crypto that can maybe have a good chance of being worth more in the future.

its cheap and the investment is low so i dont mind if i lose the money either way.

just curious on your opinion. maybe some how dogecoin will get up? people did say in the start that bitcoin would be worthless etc.

cryptocurrencies tend not to hold value well compared to traditional investments, especially "meme" coins like dogecoin that were literally created as a joke. One of the billionaires who backs Doge was recently sued, for promoting a "pyramid scheme".

even the more established coins like bitcoin and ether have dropped significantly in price recently, and may never recover to their highs. you could get lucky, but it's gambling & there are so many people trying to rip others off in the crypto space

IMO the easy money has already been made

I think this is one of the worst places to look for financial advice, but since you questio is genuine, I will try to address it.

Dogecoin is based in litecoin's technology. In fact, it's just a rebranded litecoin with a meme. It means that the development is done in litecoin (I read that the project was facing a shortage and disinterest of developers in 2019. It's worth checking if it changed) and then forked to dogecoin. I don't see any reason for dogecoin to be more succesfull than litecoin for the long run.

But your question is for the next 2 years.

In recent years there has been some hype on dogecoin, led mostly by a certain ill-intended and populist billionaire. However that very person is facing charges for market manipulation (at elast!) and things ma no tend well for him and for the image of dogecoin.

Another important thing to consider is the current pessimistic sentiment over criptocurrencies. I think it will be really hard for them to grow in market value in the near future.

The next two years are going to stay in a sideways downtrend, throw in bit by bit throughout those couple years, most investments usually trend upwards with US Presidential election season, where all that dirty shady political money gets pumped into the economy again. Not sure about Dogecoin though, hard to imagine it pumping ever again.

It's hard to say. Currently all major cryptos are in the toilet, which has make them form a drawn out head and shoulders chart. In theory they could now all be at or near the bottom, so from a technical analysis standpoint, this isn't a totally illogical time to step in. However they're too risky for me, and I don't feel like the emotional rollercoaster that will accompany an investment. Just be careful, and don't gamble what you can't afford to lose.
