Discussion Do you like to wear jewellery?

A thread discussing wearing crucifixes got me thinking about this... Do you like to wear jewellery? What do you wear regularly? Do you wear jewellery even if you aren't going out anywhere?

I don't wear any now. Not even a watch. I think I'd find anything irritating to wear now. I'm always curious by people who wear lots of rings. That used to feel the most uncomfortable to me. I suppose you get used to it though. Maybe to the extent that not wearing them feels more odd.

Does your jewellery hold special meaning to you? Obviously, wedding rings must. My Nana always used to wear a necklace that belonged to my Mum. I always thought that was a nice thing to do. To wear something in remembrance.

I suppose it's magical thinking really. To have something like a locket with a photograph in or, a lock of hair close to your heart.

Do you ever wear things for luck? My Dad used to lend me a pisky charm on exam days. Eventually he gave it to me permanently.

I used to wear a lot of jewelry as a person who dresses goth. Collars, lots of chunky rings, earrings and cuffs on my ears, bracelets. I do not wear any of that anymore, though. Depression has made it difficult to do anything outside of the bare minimum so all I wear are the same pair of earrings every day to keep the holes open. I miss getting all fancied up though.

I like to wear jewelry, but I wear them a bit more conservatively lately. I have many piercings on my ears so there's a usual set I wear until I decide to clean them or change them up, and sometimes I wear a specific necklace without taking it off for a period of time. I used to wear a lot of rings but I do it less now because it started to feel a little uncomfortable. I only wear silver jewelry, I think it matches my skin tone best.

I wear small stud earrings and tons of bracelets to fidget with. But they don't hold any special meaning to me.

I wear only earrings and one necklace with a pendant. I don't tend to like wearing anything else because personally I can't stand how jewelry feels on my skin.
The pendant is special to me since it's custom-made, and the earrings are also special because they were a gift from my partner.

I love jewelry I wear protection bracelets six in today and a choker and two silver necklaces. I used have rings but had to sell them all due to financial issues. Do you still wear the charm your dad gave you? I also have piercings and I guess that counts as jewelry also!

I do like to wear jewellery- but I don't have much (it's quite expensive). I have(/had) 3 bracelets I regularly wear and a necklace. One of the bracelets was made by a friend of mine. The necklace was originally my mom's and she gave it to me. Yesterday the bracelet made by my friend broke and the crystal fell out of the necklace haha

The Pisky charm is a keyring so- it's always around one way or another I suppose.
