Do you have a different relation to members on here who share the same nationality as you?

I know there are some Germans on here who don't live in Germany. I texted with people from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. I realized though that I better stop that. It hurts me too much when people decide to commit suicide. This is why I am very hesitant to exchange a lot of private messages.

I sometimes read texts from other Germans. Many of them are cynical about the current politicial situation. But I don't think this is unique to other countries. I tend to think that I read on average more texts from other Germans on here. But most of the Germans on this forum are very determined to go through with it. And I don't want to be involved in that.

I like to text with Americans a lot because their political and media landscape is interesting. But also terrifying. I think it is good that there are no subforums for different nationalities. We might come from different countries but our love frustration and anguish over life unites us.

I've PM'd more with people of different nationalities. Although, we're usually a similar age. I suppose peers are going through slightly more similar problems. More strangely, it's been more guys I've messaged more frequently here, when I have very few male friends in real life.
