Just something that popped into my mind whilst browsing on here.
When that one guy got arrested for encouraging people to commit suicide and getting into fake suicide pacts, people reported him to the FBI and they didn't do a single thing. Literally no one cares that much.
Why would someone in one of those agencies care to post on here? If you don't encourage suicide and don't enter pacts with people you should be fine. I doubt the FBI or the CIA or whoever gives a shit about depressed people talking about their shitty lives and how they're gonna hang themselves next week.

I think we all underestimate just how incompetent the gov actually is. They don't have the interest or time to manually monitor stuff. All the surveillance is done by algorythms and looking for key words.
A thing i found helpful with this stuff is to take one red pill, and not the whole bottle.

I don't see why "3-letter agencies"--if you mean FBI, CIA, NSA, KGB and such--would actually care about this forum. This forum is certainly observed by anti-suicide groups and every comment posted on this forum doesn't go unnoticed by them. They care, but honestly I don't think FBI and CIA etc. give a shit.

i know someone who worked for a software company which made software for surveillance. you have no idea how observed we all are. they know already about so many fucking crimes and also child abuse. but as long as its not against them - they dont give a fuck.
they are 100% aware of how bad people are suffering. and they dont feel responsible. but they know. and they would have many capabilities to help. but instead of using the data they collect to help - its more about how to bring people systemaycally down who are maybe against the system. what a missuse of resources. because at some point everyone is against the system.

Well selling drugs is still illegal, being pro-choice isn't. so if a dealer is dumb enough to conduct their business through SS, they kinda have it coming for them. I've never seen anyone try to sell N on here though.
I doubt the FBI will want to chase down the handful of barbituate traffickers anyways when they could be busting kingpins dealing in weed, cocaine, heroin, etc... much more popular, big money drugs.

i think they maybe spy for several reasons in here:
- to track if someone is freaking out and doing amok
- if someone is getting radical
- if someone starts a terroristic group (i would create one - who wants to join?) or joining a current
- learn who is a danger and who not
but i think they only would post things to not look suspicios. but in case they would have accsess otherwise - they dont need to do this. just monitoring and if somethig is popping up in the algrythm - then they would start investigating.

Their doing the right thing too, it's Not asylum their here for it's building up numbers(fighter's) and getting themselves in positions of power so they can when ready hit us from within our own infrastructure, Sad Dick khan is one who needs watching very closely! There's no point in monitoring this site just for the sake of monitoring it, and I mean, what are they going to do with the information - start trying to help people?

I dunno, I sorta doubt that anyone working for a government agency is going to put the time and effort in to try and find evidence of criminal activities on a website where suicidal people are writing about feeling suicidal. There's no easy pickings here, and it's a lot of stuff to comb through.
I can see concerned citizens wandering in, but, I mean, the return on investment for reading through all of these posts is pretty low for anyone who's looking for evidence of criminal activity.

I think it's most likely that they'd collect and aggregate data from these forums for blackmail/control purposes. If you're anti-government, wealthy, well-connected, or in any way poised to be useful, they could hold your private data over your head to pressure you into doing their bidding, or to discredit you if you become too much of a threat.
Ai, scrapers, and software like @deadverysoon describes could do most of the legwork in connecting the dots between your identity here and elsewhere on the web. No one from the 3-letter agencies would even need to start an account.

I agree with deadverysoon. We know from snowden that their systems are set up to monitor nearly everything. They may have an account or they may have a backdoor in the forum code. But I don't think they would have posted anything as that would require a human which they have much less of than computing resources.
