No, there's no magic at work behind the scenes just coincidences people mistake for karma, god or whatever superstitions they believe in.

100% YES. In my 68 plus years on this rock, in business and personal. I have had folks who have burned me royally and down the road BANG! it came back and bit them.

Now some can call it just living and others can call it karma, but for me, karma.

Quick personal one. In 1983, I had a summer job at a dairy creamery, and everyone thought that since I was going to college at an older age that for some reason that made me uppity in nature. I have NEVER EVER been snotty as it is NOT in the fiber of my being. So 2 guys one Saturday night wanted to go to a town about 35 miles from the town where all 3 of us lived. I said great and usually I drove, as the other 2 were very cheap, but this time one of the other guys really wanted to drive and I said OK.

We went bar hopping in this other town and a little after 1am I went to the men's room and when I came back out, they were nowhere to be seen. Went to the parking lot where we had parked, and his truck was gone. So, I started walking the 35 miles back and a town cop from the town where we were that night pulled up behind me on the road shoulder and asked me what I was doing.

I told him everything and he was just astounded that someone would do that. He drove me to the county line and a cop from the town where I was living for the summer was there and drove me back to me car. SO EMBARRASING! as both of the guys went around bragging about what they did to "the college guy", me.

Well, under 2 months after that the guy who was driving that night got caught with a drunk driving arrest and HUGE fines and could not drive for a year. The other guy was driving around 140 plus mph and lost it and was killed instantly, this was also a couple of months later.

So, everyone reading this can decide for themselves, but for me, KARMA 100%.

Seems more like life happened. They continued bad habits and paid the price. I've had malicious apartment neighbors who will probably still behave badly until a neighbor one day beats them up. That will be life happening.

Absolutely not.
Certainly not in this world.

I personally believe that good and evil do not exist.
That's why I think karma is a lie and an over-interpretation. Nothing more.

People want to believe that other people will be punished for their wicked behavior.
But that's not how it works.

Maybe I'm wrong and karma happens to all people after death.
I doubt it, but maybe it's true.
I hope that's not true.
If there is karma, evil, good, etc. then I will be VERY disappointed.

No. My abusive parents have gotten away with no consequences so far. Karma won't punish them but I will. I believe in justice but not karma.

Nope. If karma was real then a lot of people wouldn't be getting away with performing all sorts of shitty behaviours. Karma is something that was probably made up to help encourage people to do go and to help people who've been wronged cope with their pain. However, as history and events happening in the present has shown, a lot of people who do bad things get away with it.

But not really it's not a lot of money I got and he's a doctor by trade and living the life and just opened his own practice probably making bank while I'm living disabled and miserable

I wish. Feels like it's the other way around. Stuff happens to people just because, regardless if they deserve it or not. While one of my parents has died, even though I think that's not exactly really paying for what they have done, the other has a house, cars, free healthcare and money every month yet subjected me to years of physical and emotional abuse. And neglect. I don't think they deserve all that for not even even able to say they were sorry. I get to die miserably and they get everything they want. Where is the justice and karma in that?

No. I think karma as a concept has been made up to keep people complicit in letting people get away with harmful behaviour. Many disgusting people exist on this planet having received no consequences for their actions.

My heart and soul go out to you, my really good friend. NO ONE should ever have to put up with what you went through.

After my car crash, the young lad that pulled out in front of me, was complaining that he did not get to go "clubbing" that night and when informed of the aspect that he put me in ICU, he was Ambi levant about it, so sad.

Lots of hugs, love and know the fact that you always have friends on here.

Yes, but not in the sense that I punch someone in the face and in the future I will get punched in the face.

But in a sense of Causality, that is; everything has an effect and cause. This is one of law that governs our reality.
