• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I am boarding my dog with instructions that my beneficiary has authority to get him. This way I can be assured my animal is getting taking care of (I am also comforted by the fact that my dog LOVES my beneficiary, and I already know she is willing to care for him).

Strange you mention a bird...my ex-wife had a bird, a type of parrot, and I can say 100% that the bird "imprinted" on her and no matter what I tried, it simply wouldn't bond with me. When it became clear the bird was never going to accept me, we found a couple who ran a bird sanctuary who was looking for a parrot to socialize with the others on their farm and in their home. By all accounts the bird loves it there. You may want to check out and interview people looking to take in a bird. We went through several people before hitting the jackpot. Good luck.

They most certainly do. They are sentient beings that forma bonds and connections to their carers, just like any other animal.

The only advice I hace is that because we bring them into our lives, much like children, without their consent or free will and make them depend on us we owe it to them to have a plan for them should we actively decide to leave them.

Consider that most shelters are overflowing I would never place my pets in a shelter where they have a lot of stress and then, if not homed, get put down.

If I cant home my pets privately to someone I trust, I will stand with them and be with them and love and hold them while the vet puts them to sleep. And then I would CTB straight after.

If you are married or living with someone who loves the pets as much as you do and you are confident they will take over from you I would let them. However I will include this in my suicide note as well as my will. I have started to money away that will eventually go to the person who takes my pets over, so that there is always funds for their care. I have a responsibility to them, that was my choice the day I got them.

I have two cats and I love them more than anything in this world. I am a person who loves animals more than humans. It will break my heart how they will react when i am gone. The one thing I know for sure is that my family will take good care of them.

I have a Chorkie. He barks excessively like an annoying chihuahua but looks like a blond Yorkie and bites "playfully" but it hurts! He's always the most excited to see me. For a moment, I actually feel loved and wanted alive. I remember when my niece used to run up to me and yell in happiness when I would pick her up, she's growing up now so that phase seems officially over. No ones happy to see me anymore except for that dog❤️. At least he lives with my disabled sister since where I live the owner doesn't allow pets but she can claim him as a "companion" animal via doctors note. Makes it a little less stressful and not having to worry as much if the only thing on this planet that wants me alive, will actually be okay when I finally get to leave.

2 cats. They get happy when I arrive. Ask me for attention most of the time. I love them.
The day are gone, my last bound to this world will be over. I will ctb. I owe them I'm still living because I can't focus on how the world and other sides of my life is thanks to them.
I don't have contact with my family or friends. I can't leave them to anyone. I don't like the stress they have every time they get out of home. So I'll be for them until they leave.

I have two rabbits that I hope to rehome soon so I don't have to worry about them when the time comes:
It's the worst time of year to do so right now though because I worry about people getting bunnies for their kids that they'll dump right after Easter. So I'll probably wait a little longer.

I have a beautiful boy cat named Yuki. He's a spoiled motherfucker but can be really sweet and lovable too. He comes to me when I'm having a breakdown and doesn't leave until I calm down. Luckily in my case I live with my mother and sibling, so I know he'll be taken care of. I love him to bits.

I am an intense animal lover.
It hurts me intensely to see any animal suffer or killed.
I have always had cats in my life.
At one time, I had 6 cats, but now down to two 19 year old seniors.
Both sleep about 99% of the time. One has dementia.
Pets give you unconditional love, same as your children.
Hopefully my cats will be gone before I ctb, so I have no worries.
But I also know my wife will take care of them if they don't.

I have a cat. I don't think he would care too much, especially since he sees my parents more than me, but I'm convinced he cares in his own way.
The cat I had before him was another story: he loved me and my family so much, he always wanted to be near us and was always happy. Unfortunately, he passed away the day before my 23rd birthday, before he could even celebrate his second birthday.

A colleague at work bought a farmette. He and his wife decided to buy a calf to raise for meat.
He'd feed it every morning before coming in to work.
He got so attached to that animal, he couldn't bear to slaughter the animal when the time came.
It became his pet. :)
Baby Agnes has more friends than me
OMG those dogs are precious!

I have a dog that will be turning 11 (77) this October and dogs her breed live a maximum of 15 years (105). I actually envy the fact that dog years are so short compared to us poor humans. I would have loved to have died at that age (in human years). The only time worse than being a teen is being an adult. Her impeding death is another reason to want to CTB. She's the only friend I've ever had and I can't imagine life without her. It's true what they say... you don't know unconditional love until you've had a dog. Luckily, my mom will be more than willing to continue to take care of her after I'm gone. We all live together so it won't be a big transition, although it's made me sad in the past when I was in the hospital and heard that she spent pretty much the whole time in my room lying in my bed waiting for my return. I don't want to think about her doing that when I'm gone knowing that this time I won't be coming back. It reminds me of this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hachikō

Thanks! Luckily, his death caught me in a not so unhappy time, and I was able to cuddle with him a couple hours before it happened. Also, I'm pretty sure the poor thing didn't feel scared, as he died fairly quickly and suddenly

I could never imagine putting my dogs down just because I couldn't go on, myself. I had to put a dog down once and it was the dog I spent my "crucial years" with (12-23). It was the hardest thing I've ever done, or had to go through.
