What do you think ?

When it comes to CTB, it often come down to some general reasons such as being cheated on, financial trouble, jobs problem, no relationship, incurable diseases, war time, being raped, fail education, .... etc

But could be there lots of case when the relatives try to figure, even try to hire police - investigator and yet no results ? The death of their loved ones become a forever mystery.

Without a note I think most people will try to guess why their loved one left them, but they'll never be sure. For me personally, I've hidden my suicidal thoughts and past attempts from my family extremely well. They'd probably have no idea why I did it if I didn't plan on leaving a note. Not knowing why might leave them feeling more grief, so I think it's very important to leave a note if you can.

Does it hurt people if you disappear and die?

In my life, I'm pretty sure people will know. I've told some people very explicitly that I want to kill myself because I can't bear the constant pain of untreatable depression. My many diagnoses and extensive treatment history say the same. If anyone raises speculations, those people closest to me can set them straight.

what if i dont even care to leave a note ?
also people are gonna run in circles and go on 'easter egg hunts' whether you clarify your suicide with a note or not, they'll all have their own perspectives on it and even form their own reasons not to mention people often misinterpret things.. and im not unkilling myself to explain further so its like why bother

This is a major concern for me... I don't want anyone being blamed (or blaming themselves when they shouldn't), so I feel like I need to be really careful.

I feel like if the person does not leave a note and they were the type of person who kept things to themselves, it can be difficult to understand why they chose to leave. I would personally choose to write a note to give those left behind some closure and will mean that they are not left with unanswered questions. However, it does not really matter to me how others react after I die as I will not be there to see it.

Police do investigate every suicide, at least here in my state and probably the whole of the US. I know someone who is a mental health professional for very troubled kids and many of them ctb so she's familiar with the process. Police confiscate computers, phones, notebooks etc to look through. They'll interview professionals that were involved with the client, can access their chart notes, as well as interview family friends etc. Some families will hire a private investigator so they can access the dead's therapy notes and such themselves. It's a pretty big process. It's never just "oh here's a suicide note, guess they committed suicide, let's roll out boys."

Same here. For me it won't be a question of why, I have extensive history surrounding suicide and have been open about it in the past, but I know the people who have been helping me for so long will feel blame, like they didn't do enough for me, and I want to be very clear it's nobody's fault.

This is sad to me. Or even horrifying. I know this is because killers will sometimes try to stage a death as a suicide but still. No privacy in death. I guess the dead do have no rights. Everyone thinks they have a right to know what happened to a person or what they went through just because they died. They get their business blasted on some television show. I'll definitely have to wipe my devices thoroughly.

People will probably make many assumptions about why I CTB'd assumed it was solely due to X reason and think they've got everything figured out. It disgusts me but no one will ever know. And there's nothing to be done about it. What a shame.

They ctb'd because they didn't like it here. If they were happy and everything was well in their life and their future looked good, they wouldn't have ctb'd. Unless it's a manga where someone sacrifices oneself to save and protect their friends.
