Do people start caring once you’re gone?

Idk if people who don't really care now would care when I'm gone once they realise the permanence of death or that they won't care when I'm gone either

The people who care now don't do enough to show it, and will definitely regret not showing you the love you deserve once you are gone. I don't think they will care any less or more, just be more aware of their mistakes
