Help Do I have to compress the vertebral arteries for partial to succeed?

Most people here just talk about the carotids. However I've read that the vertebral arteries supply 20% of the blood flow to the brain, so shouldn't we have to compress those too? Or is getting rid of 80% of the blood enough?
