You won't be able to control the flow rate per minute. That regulator doesn't let you set how many litres of gas per minute you want. Also that mask is likely to fail. People use bags or expensive fancy scuba masks. That mask is asking for trouble.

wasnt planning on using the mask' just the tubing, I want to use a bag. oh I thought all click style regulators you could adjust the lpm?

is this one adjustable?

Ah sorry yeah if it says LPM it's fine. I couldn't see the image properly because it was blurry. Usually those two gauge regulators don't have LPM. But if it says LPM you're good

I think it's adjustable - unsure, however

Since you're using argon, I would search this site for threads and posts about argon because it is a heavier gas and I've seen some people say it's best to use it lying down. Might be worth checking.

seems about right. i would suggest to tape the tubing on the backside of the bag wuit high up. that makes it comfortable and the inert gas whichever you use will push the co2 down. would not recommend argon though because it has almost the same density as co2. argon 1,4 and co2 1,5. its is still up to you because i have read about successful attempts with argon. you have a regulator for 20 liters that should be enough anything below that would be risky.

how did you construct ykur bag if i may ask?

Why under 20L is risky?

the threshold is 15lpm. i would always go a little higher because if you go to low yku dont have a positive pressure and the co2 wont get flushed away quickly enough

is there a higher risk for barotrauma if I go a higher lpm?

well I would actually prefer do do it laying down but ppl recommend sitting. &chose argon bc it is the only pure gas I could find on amazon that ships at size 40 cuft. and for my bag i followed the instructions on the youtube video with betty

Barotrauma is really only a concern when you completley close the bag.

The mask would be fine with a bag, but at 15lpm you'd only use it to direct the flow, not provide any seal. The bag is for rebreathing and 15lpm would be fine for keeping it inflated as gas you exhale with be recirculated. If you're only using a mask or scba the flow needs to be higher. On demand scuba diving type gear usually uses 40lpm, but I've read 37.5lpm as well. That is the flow rate your lungs will use while being physically active.

is there a higher risk for barotrauma if I go a higher lpm?

Bariotrauma isn;t even a thing unless you're deep diving and come up too fast or in a pressurized airline at 40,000" that suddenly loses cabin pressure. Like in movies. You won't even get it from free fall skydiving.
