Discussion Disguising as murder

Has anyone ever tried disgusing the sucicide as murder? I feel like it would be the ultimate revenge tatic. Because if someine really wronged you, you could frame that person as the murder. Since it would be written down legally cause of death, murder, insurance money would go to loved ones, someone you hate would go to prison for life. So everyone wins.

Highly doubt that would work. Most suicides end up as crime scenes specifically because police need to figure out if foul play was involved or if it really was a suicide. If they suspect murder, they'd need to make absolutely sure of it and honestly that seems like a really difficult thing to convincingly fake while also committing suicide on top of it. Seems like too much effort for something that probably won't be convincing.

Yeah, unless you are truly a criminal mastermind, the police investigation would reveal it was a suicide, not a murder.
