But let's think about the essence of pictorial art. Is the art expression in the physical ability to control our body parts in a way to form the image or in the conceptualization and construction of the image itself?

If I conceptualize a scene, translate it into input prompts for a software, adjust some parameters, select the closest image to my conceptualized scene and do some post processing on it, isn't it art? Am I not expressing myself and bring my conceptualizations into reality?

Hmm, I felt similarly but then I realized this proves my idea that we might live in a simulation, as it proves that a medium level of tech can already simulate art.

That we live in a fake or controlled reality is a consoling thought to me, it discards scientific nihilism as in random rock with spontaneous blobs of cells on it.

I'm looking into music generated by programs now. There's less progress there, but they can create generic stuff. I hesitate to call these AI as it seems less advanced than the freaking monstrous code behind artificial art, which I wouldn't be surprised can actually learn and improve from stuff it analyses online.

Hehe, what actually happened is that the people helping me create my app are losing interest and I will replace them with this if need be.

I asked for four pictures and one was censored. Presumably everything online is grist to the mill for this program!! I can imagine generating music is more formulaic - and probably doesn't involve scanning porn sites!

Go ahead and replace those people. Definitely the way forward. Until the AI decides it doesn't need you that is!
