So, a few months ago, I left a comment that was apparently against the rules and my acc got permanently banned. Some time later I created a new one. Everything was okay, I've got approximately 100 karma. But then suddenly I started to see "we have a server error..." Message everytime I go to the site. And i also can't send chat messages to anybody. Everything else works fine in the web version, I can comment and upvote. But the android app says that I'm not logged tho. Does someone knows wtf is going on with my accounts? Is it some sort of a ban or what?

Maybe they have banned you because of the MAC of your cell phone? I don't understand reddit

Could be a shadowban of sorts, but what did you write to get permanently banned site-wide over one comment?

There is such thing as IP bans and device bans on Reddit, where they ban all of your accounts (even if you used different emails to register each one) and then ban any new ones you try to make. But if you're not seeing a red banner on the top of each page telling you that you're banned, then you aren't.

That's exactly what I see... But it doesn't tell me that I'm banned, it's just say that they have problems with servers. I guess it's just another way to deceive you into thinking that it will fix itself sooner or later and to not try to create another one

its hardware ban
Idk, I'm able to create a new account and there are no problems until I start being active i.e. create posts. When I do that, the same thing happens again and again. And I don't even go to the same subreddits that I was banned from...

How?

How?
-Install Firefox
- Download the Canvas Blocker extension (alternatively you can set the privacy.resistFingerprinting flag in about:config to true, but as far as I know this only protects against the canvas fingerprinting; (it does a few other things aswell but I doubt reddit uses it for alt detection) if you enable this flag then disable canvas protection in Canvas Blocker.
- Configure its settings and make sure the following is set: "Protected part of the canvas API" set to readout, and "Protect audio, DOMRect, SVG, TextMetrics API" are ticked (this will randomize these fingerprints everytime you refresh the page). I would untick "Protect screen API." Leave the other settings at default unless you know what you're doing (most settings are hidden anyway unless you have "Expert mode" enabled.
- Download Font Fingerprint Defender and untick "Show/hide desktop notifications"
- Disable WebGL by setting webgl.disabled to true in about:config or get WebGL Fingerprint Defender (don't know how well it works because I haven't used it, I recommend just disabling webgl although this will break a few websites)
- Make sure you create and use your accounts on a different IP (you can use a VPN but keep in mind others will most likely be using reddit on the same VPN server as you so you could still get flagged)

There are similar extensions available for chromium based browsers but they're not as good. If you want to do this on a chromium based browser, you can use brave as it has built in fingerprinting randomization.
and honestly Reddit is filled with narcissistic delusional hypocrite people, it's place where mediocre people think they are more than that , Reddit Main users are unprone to intelligence, It's good to ask technical questions sometimes and see what's new tho
