Hi all! I'm new here. Just wondering if anyone here has diabetes and has thought about just letting ketoacidosis happen or using insulin? Does anyone know if this would be painful?

Hard breathing, unstable temperature perception, vertigo/dizziness, nausea, blurred/tunnel vision (hypovolemia?), internal (gastrointestinal) bleeding, fatigue and a few other/optional (reopened wounds, tremor, unstable heartbeat) symptoms.
Hmm I have been researching methods and it seems like SN is the best method for me. However it's hard to take care of my diabetes since I am so depressed, and I wonder what would happen if I just let it go and try to CTB that way..but sounds scary and uncomfortable

Not if you are drunk, my husband has never felt any discomfort when hes been close to death in this way.
Its because when you drink alcohol you bloodsugar goes away, thats why you cant take your diabets medication while intoxicated. ( if you want to live )
And if you dont eat anything during that time it goes even faster. Many people has died in
custody because of that reason.
i'm on xoltophy (insulin and Victoza combined) and 2000 of metformin for my diabetes. so if I don't eat that day and get plastered does that mean I have a peaceful death that looks like an accident?

I honestly wouldn't recommend it. My cousin had to have both limbs amputated. She has no legs now. It's a very slow painful way to go. It has caused infections in her blood stream. So many problems that she is in a nursing home now with that and multiple sclerosis. I'd chose another way.
