Since the Doors did great cover of Alabama Song, I might as well post Lotte Lenya's super creepy 1930 original rendition of this super creepy classic I'd want playing on an endless loop if I were to have a funeral. (If I was a babysitter of unruly brats on a Friday or Saturday night, I'd force them to remain awake until their heads were lolling over from sleepiness, put them to bed, then have this playing incessantly on low volume from my tablet to give them the worst nightmares ever, along with the Moog synthesizer theme to Dark Shadows (which went on the air just two years after Bob Moog created his magnificent instrument, result in a theme which made us boys shit bricks - we'd run home from school to be able to watch it, the greatest soap opera ever!)..:
