Defeating survival instincts

Identify your fear (failure/pain/existential)

Human are influenced by:
*emotions
*impulses
*memories
*intellect
*instinct

Move barriers (use all your senses: sight/hearing/taste/smell/touch)
*alcohol
*music
*memories
*places
*smells
*pictures
*mail/sms/facebook/twitter
*find logical reason for ctb
*philosophical/existential:

-read "Suicide" by Emile Durkheim
-watch - "Death with Shelly Kagan"

*consider using another method that is more reliable and/or less painful (reliable method reduce fear of failure)

Example.
Put yourself in the right state of mind by visit places and play music that reinforce your wish to ctb.

I've compensated people to try to strangle/hang me a few times since I don't want to do it myself. For me, the survival instinct doesn't kick in until I'm a few seconds from blacking out and succeeding. I've found that when I start feeling those instincts to fight or flight, I can distract myself by thinking of all the things that put me there in the first place. By the time I get through the list... well, I've never gotten all the way through the list before I was out.

Sadly, paying someone else isn't a reliable way to go. For some reason, they always think they're done once you go limp. :(

Dr HannibalLector prescribe chloroform
Sounds like you would benefit a great deal from chloroform. Inhalation or ingestion of chloroform could result in the inability to engage in protective actions during the act. (if ctb is your desired outcome)

In All Seriousness, some of us could benefit from examine thoughts and assumptions that constitutes for undesired survival feelings. Like a phobia for spiders. If altered thoughts and assumptions (by logical reason) about the harmless spider could change the way we feel and react to it, same could be true for survival instincts.

Guys, I'm trying to do partial suspension drunk and don't reduce my fear. Tried drunk + huffing chloroform and failed, because too drunk I can't have coordinations enough to do this. And I have no access to chloroform, so I did the synthesis in my home, but I don't know why, is not effective huffing this in a piece of cloth. Anyone knows the best method to inhale chloroform?

The method to make chloroform is solid. (given you followed the instructions in the video and paid attention to the things we discussed) First find out the concentration of sodium hypochlorite in your bleach and the concentration of your ethanol. If you know the concentrations i could tell you the amount to mix for best result. Second consider buy the proper lab equipment in the video to get a better result.

Does the chloroform still smell bleach or does it have an ethereal odor?

Also it takes longer to render someone unconscious with chloroform then in the movies. At least five minutes inhale of soaked rug.

I know that, I see the solid formation. Yes, it has this "ethereal odor" but very very sweet, I know because here in Brazil there's a drug called "lança perfume" that is based on chloroform. And the smell is very close. I take the chloroform and put on a dark bottle with a little amount of ethanol, very little. I know isn't like movies man, but I experienced (and read experiences) that chloroform has other effects before knock u out, like auditory distortion, euphoria, relaxation, etc. Everytime I have used chloroform (not trying suicide, just getting high) I inhaled it directly from a tin can or a little bottle or something, but when I tried to suicide in a piece of cloth it doesn't had the same effect. Some say is useless inhale chloroform in piece of cloth because evaporate too fast, so u can't inhale too much. I will try inhale this directly from the recipient.

Just as a warning
Chloroform has tendency to cause fatal cardiac arrhythmia refereed to as "sudden sniffer's death".

If you still want try it this is how chloroform is administered
You need make a facial mask placed around both nose and mouth and add chloroform in constant intervals.

Cardiac arrhythmia isn't a problem to me, in fact can be good! The only dangers from chloroform to me is liver damage and tendency to cause cancer (I'm talking abou living with illness, in short term I don't care if I die soon). But thank you.

I think survival instinct would only be a problem for me if I was using a painful scary method like the gun. I fear I would flinch.

Try partial suspension and back here to tell us if isn't scary... Is fast and painless, but your senses fading away scares me and a lot of people... Only seconds before u become unconscious this fear kick.

I'm actually doing N.

Partial suspension is fast and painless?

I'm going to take xanax before I do mine and also listen to music during the act. (Either SN or exit bag. Hoping exit bag works).

Yes, it scares me too (so much i changed method to go forward with my plans). I hope chloroform can minimize pain (any discomfort).

@HannibalLector did you tried chloroform by yourself? Can you share your experience? I wanna know how much chloroform u need to result in the inability to engage in protective actions during the act.

Preparation for inhaling chloroform
The only direction which it is usually requisite to give beforehand, to the patient who is to inhale chloroform, is to avoid taking a meal previous to the inhalation; for chloroform is very apt to cause vomiting, if inhaled whilst there is a quantity of food in the stomach. The sickness is not attended with any danger, but it constitutes an unpleasantness and inconvenience which it is desirable to avoid.

Nomenclature - the word "minim"
If your are not familiar with the word minim used in the video.
1 minim = 0,06161152 ml (milliliter).

I want stress the awareness that there is a thin line between anesthetic and death
The video i provided above is consistent with older medical literature on the subject.

first minute 0,18483456ml (3 minims)
second minute 0,36966912ml (6 minims)
third minute 0,55450368ml (9 minims)
forth minute 0,73933824ml(12 minims)
fifth minute 0,9241728ml (15 minims)

Total 2,7725184ml (45 minims)

Medical literature
Proportion of chloroform in the blood required to produce narcotism of
*second degree, (12 minims)
*third degree, (18 minims)
*fourth degree, (24 minims)
*arrest the function of respiration, (36 minims)

The amount of 18 minims is absorbed by 36 minims!

Phosgene and Hydrochloric acid
Chloroform converts to phosgene and hydrochloric acid in air - avoid air exposure to the chloroform in your bottle (consider discard it and make if you have exposed it to air).

Prevention of death from chloroform
"In one report, a man died of severe hepatic injury 9 days after reportedly drinking .6 ounces of chloroform (3,755 mg/kg) (Piersol et al. 1933). He was admitted to a hospital in a deep coma within 15 minutes of ingestion. This man was also noted to be a long-time user of chloroform in his occupation and a heavy drinker, suggesting that damage inflicted by previous use of chloroform and alcohol over a long period of time may have been contributing factors in his death."

"In contrast, a patient who ingested 4 ounces (. 2,410 mg/kg) recovered from toxic hepatitis (Schroeder 1965)."

"Fatal doses have been reported to be as low as 10 mL (14.8 grams) or 212 mg/kg (Schroeder
1965)."

So you think around 15ml is ok to be self-administred? To reach anesthesia, put the rope in neck, stay in the position, and keep inhaling the chloroform until become unconscious and the body's weight and gravity do the rest? I'm very dumb, please convert this to ml if you can, I'm confused. And you think a gauze works better than a piece of cloth?

I want to be dead. I don't want to be living. But I don't have the energy - that intense drive it takes to go through with the act that I've felt at times before. I feel like I've ruined everything in my life that used to be good. I suppose it come back eventually. but in the last few months instead the emotions that used to trigger my suicidal impulses - i just feel numb. don't know how to change this.

Since you skipped distillation when you synthesized your chloroform it make sense to inhale it. Gauze is preferred to a soaked rag (piece of cloth) for the same reasons (protect face). Gauze or the apparatus in the article i provided in the other thread is better then soaked rag to avoid issue of evaporation you mentioned earlier.

The amount you suggest, 15 ml, that is four times the amount used in the video (almost 4 ml), the person in the video doesnt seem capable to engage in any protective maneuvers.

15 ml is almost 244 minims

The man in the article took several measures to minimize pain, in addition to this he used padding around neck.

4ml, are u sure? Looking for the content in the bottle looks like much more, but visual test is so sketchy. Well, my plan is inhale the chloroform to make more easy hang myself, but if I die before from chloroform OD is acceptable! :D
Do you try chloroform by yourself? You think that amount can make you unable to get off the rope?

The experiment in the video yielded 58 ml after distillation.

If you intend use 15 ml chloroform, that corresponds to more then 15 ml of your unpure chloroform (not distilled)

My advice is to go slowly and increase in the same pace as depicted in the video above. There is no need to go overboard with your powerful chloroform. Gradually increase and only go above the levels in the video if you feel its necessary to induce desired state (unconsciousness / inability to use protective maneuver / minimize pain).

But I think the more you become high on chloroform more difficult is to still the administration. One thing is a doctor or any other people administrating it for you, a total different thing is you administrating anesthesia by yourself. I don't know.

@HannibalLector based on this video and on the informations u give, u think is a bad idea use so much chloroform as I can? Sorry if I am being stupid, but too much chloroform will not make me to pass out? Passing out would help very much if the rope is already in my neck (don't want to repeat what I did last weekend being so drunk that can't put the rope lol).

I agree, but i still think you want get there gradually and when you come closer you might add increased amount just before you fade off (nota bene, it can be difficult to asses when you reach this stage). So i still recommend a test run (so you can relax and know how your body responds to it). After you add last increased amount you might want cover it to avoid evaporation.

If I'm hanging either partial or suspension or full, does drinking alcohol a little before help or taking some paracetamol normal dose?

Which is better to help me override instinct to save myself in this method? Please?

Full suspension I don't know, very painful. About partial suspension, I tried this very drunk but it don't help for me, I lose my coordinations and was unable to put the rope in my neck, but a less amount of alcohol can help you, I don't know, try this by yourself. About acetaminophen, is bullshit, paracetamol isn't psychoactive so will do nothing to relax you. Try some chloroform if you can get, I'm looking for this now. But you need prepare the rope before, the right length, position, etc.
