• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

im still trying to learn more about different methods before making any decisions, and if was to consider any of the above (full-suspension hanging, partial hanging or ligature strangulation) i thought it would be worth weighing up and learning about each method's similar alternatives.

Anyone have any thoughts on the above ? or useful info ?

i would be worried about pain, or not falling unconscious quick enough or correctly, needing to do it right so im confident i dont like wake back up in the middle of partial (i mean im not entirely sure if that might happen sometimes & if so, why).

but despite my fear of pain, reading about finicky methods made me actually almost gravitate towards full-suspension.
cause if a method needed serious practice, which i assume might leave an obvious mark, i don't think i could get away with that (and i think it would obviously be extremely unwise to begin testing anything with the assumption that i could get it right and complete it on the same day)

Have you read through the Hanging Megathread? I can link it if you're interested.

yes im aware, but its like 162 pages of more or less random discussion that were not necessarily the questions on my mind. i guess since posts are short and decisions are big, that isnt so long in the scheme of things, but i kind of want to find the most relevant information first to actually know what i should most importantly, at the top of the list, be looking at especially if there are multiple different possible methods.
and i didnt want to carry on for an extended period of time with like highly unusual research as a side hobby

and the short introduction to partial looked promising at first, but isnt exactly in depth, and searching here i often find people having difficulties with it for whatever reason. the kind of thing i could imagine someone figuring out with practice if they lived alone, but i was worried if I did that, it may leave a mark (and i saw someone else post about that recently - im not too sure how common or how obvious that is, cause i havent tried it myself, partly cause the possibility worried me, but maybe something brief wouldnt be too serious, idk, i havent thought about all the steps).

sorry if my tone sounds odd or dismissive or anything im just trying to be helpful by replying / explaining.
(& if u personally dont have anything further to add, ur not Obligated to reply its just public discussion)

as far as like public discussion goes if anyone wants to chime in and say like, they personally found the sweet spot for partial easily by doing whatever so it makes more sense than full, or that unconsciousness happens quickly in full so it shouldnt be a big concern, or that ligature s seemed really easy (or maybe really difficult), u can add any insight or thoughts of that kind

sorry lol i assume now u may have been implying i could post any questions over there on the megathread
maybe i will in the future, but the threads are kind of dedicated to each method, and my question was more trying to compare / decide / figure out which method might be best, or best to pay attention to (or point my attention to first, at least)

My only reason for choosing strangulation over hanging is because I don't want anybody to find me hanging. In my head it seems a way more traumatic way to find someone dead than to just find them laying down, even if they did still do it to themselves.

Sorry if this is not the kind of info you wanted
