does anyone consider why they make sure a person doesn't ctb when on death row. they could go out on their own terms and save the government a shit load of money. I would give them a method or two and methods on request, except a gun obviously.

I recently watched a programme that interviewed prisoners during their last 24 hours whilst on death row.
One person was given the injection of N at 6pm and was dead 15 mins later.
Prisoners must ask what they will be given and how long it takes so this proberly seems the most painless and peaceful way to go.
Alot of prisoners can also appeal their execution with the decision being given right up to the last hour so maybe they are hanging on for that last glimce of hope.
I would chose N over dying by my own hand for sure.
