Sometimes I find myself waiting to have a heart attack from my crappy diet would dying of a heart attack be painful? Like if I didn't go to the hospital?

I don't know about every heart attack but after working at a hospital for a short time and talking to patients: the range goes from unpleasant to very painful.
Plus you have no guarantee that you actually get one from eating junk...the body is pretty tolerant when it comes to trashy food.

Heart attacks "to be explained away". Don't you just love capitalism. I thought the owner would them be more decent, then comes the business model bit, wow.

But if a heart attacks what you wanna buy, he's your man!

I'm all for living how we please, and not caring about the long term as far as nutrition and such, but I can confidently say you don't want a heart attack. Most often they hurt a good bit, and they don't always kill you.

I don't know why, but my brain always goes to that scene in The Dark Knight Rises with Bane when I see questions like this:

Littlefinger (you in this scenario): If I pull that off will you (I) die?

Bane: It would be extremely painful.

Littlefinger: You're (I'm) a big guy.

Bane: For you.

But seriously, confusing analogies aside. Just focus on the "extremely painful" part. This isn't a good idea. I mean at least you can enjoy some good/bad food but an effective method of suicide this is not.

to this topic i can recommend the documentary "super size me" where a healthy guy ate for one month only mcdonalds food to see what impact it has on his health.
long story short. i was quite impactful but not lethal.

But, you know, it's still some sort of fantasy which is fine, if I liked food I'd probably choose hamburgers as a way to go too. It's conceivable you could take something around with you for pain, not that it'll be easy to sort out an injection of pain killer. Carrying that around would risk prosecution, serious prison time potentially. Anyway once you have that injection, you might as well just OD on that to start with, so it's all just a bit of "fun", this idea. Awesome thread I hope OP is ok with how we're talking about this

I had a heart attack. I thought it was nothing, just heartburn, indigestion, but they said i almost died. It runs the gamut.

That's why I gave a half joking, half serious answer, cover all bases. That thread title is just too much to resist.

Going down this path, one can have a stroke just as easily as a heart attack.

Wow, I was thinking this thread was about putting SN into a hamburger and eating it...

But I still think the best way is to have a mega margarita and replace the salt on the rim with SN - that is my ideal way to CTB.

Hmm... makes me think of a brain attack in lieu of a heart attack. Heart attacks can be extremely, extremely painful unless it results in overwhelming sudden death as was the case with my uncle, or so I have heard.

I am rolling eyes at myself right now causa the brain attack - smh - my mind scares me sometimes :pfff:

I don't know exactly why my mind went to brain attack instead of a heart attack, except that I am so very loopy tired right now.

On a more serious note, Death by Hamburger; I am thinking this calls for a new mega thread.

Thanks for the smiles OP : )

My friend's father died at age 96 when he is sleeping. He is healthy, just aging. Before his father died, he complaining to my friend why he needs to live so long because all his friends are dead. I saw my coworker got heart attack and he suddenly passes out. I didn't know how painful he has. If no one gave him CPR, I am sure he will die. He just 30s. Died by heart attack for me just dream. At least you don't need to CTB. Most people in SS are so desperate, I do not think you can dream to die naturally.
