Discussion Dae panic over reincarnation and things getting worse

This might be rather stupid and I reckon it's just my brain being it's panic-ridden self like usual but even though I don't really believe in reincarnation I can't help asking myself but what if which usually ends up with me freaking out because what if the next life is some bigger bullshit and I fuck myself over even more?

This is silly, I know. I suffer from anxiety and am therefore prone to catastrophizing but man, am I scared it's all going to get even more fucked and maybe next time I'm not going to kill myself for whatever reasons. Anyone else have this or am I just a freak.

No your not I think of that I actually believe in reincarnation. I feel if I'm able to exist now then I should be able to exist again. It's one of the reasons I don't kill myself im afraid that my next life could be worse.

If you are destined to be reincarnated it will happen sooner or later anyway, no one is eternal in terms of the life they're currently living. You know this life is bad, but the next one is unknown, it could be similarly bad, or it could be better.

I don't believe we will will go straight into our next lives. So I'm guessing we reflect and learn from this one before we reincarnate. Just my opinion of course.

I am basically an atheist and even I am scared of what happens after we die, or at least during the dying process as the transition is made.

Ya I follow Buddhist type beliefs but do not believe in a god. To me existence should be impossible but yet it is and we do not know anything before we lived whether we existed or not before this life. I think that because we are currently alive why can't it happen again when it happens though and if it does we will never know. I try to think of how beautiful the world and the universe is and that we are all a part of it.

Reincarnation may exist but i absolutely don't believe in moral-based merit-accumulation based reincarnation. It makes absolutely 0 sense to me, sure i can't prove it it's not exist but i also can't prove that suicide gives you access to heaven. Just because i can't prove something doesn't mean anything

Moral-based reincarnation seems like antrophomorphizing nature, plus it's dumb from a moral point of view since 1 : ) libertarian free-will doesn't exist and can't exist in any possible universe (either actions are caused : no free-will. Uncaused : random therefore no free-will, or both (no free-will + no free-will can't mean free-will), and we all start from different conditions therefore it makes absolutely no sense morally to judge a person with extremely good conditions and another with extremely bad conditions on their actions the same way.

So even if there is a reincarnation dying by suicide or through natural death would make no difference

To me, reincarnation is a fact as is the existence of the soul with no body. But on the other side things are much better than here and it is really a very loving place. You don't have to reincarnate if you don't want to, no one will make you do anything and there is no judgement for what you do. However there is a thing called a life review where people have felt what their actions have done to others. In your next incarnation (shall you so desire) you are going to be someone else.
