I remember this video. When it was first released I remember many people praising the father. I still can't believe this was ever seen as "good parenting"

fucking disgusting. 15 is such a formative age, be kind to them, listen to their struggles, guide them on the correct path... dont embarass them in front of millions of people :/ thats exactly the beginning of how a child might eventually end up on a forum like this

My parents would agree with him. But is such a bad way to set an example destroying things. My parents have threatened to break my things. There ought to be a better way and 15 is such a young age. You have to be like 18 to get jobs here.

If this is his reaction to a mean letter on Facebook I think his daughter might have been on to something.

Sometimes you are born, with no recollection of how or why, then you are expected to live out your days proving your worth for being born. That's a textbook parent who has no clear idea of why he procreated in the first place and expects the child to do everything possible to convince him that this wasn't a mistake. Spoiler alert it never happens.

The Facebook post of the daughter sounds like any 15 year old in that weird period of questioning authority and taking risks to test boundaries, it doesn't justify public humiliation

Yes. It just sounded like a daughter feeling as though she was overworked.
