Cutting Yourself to Death - Possible?

So in the Non-Methods threads, it lists cutting as a non-method. But say you were to get hammered/high on painkillers and dig for the arteries in your neck? I mean, feel them, Right now. Like in Gym class, with the two fingers to the neck to check the pulse. If you were high on painkillers, do you think you could bleed to death? If not bleed to death, the lack of blood flow to the brain will surely result in loss of consciousness if not brain death.

so, uh, yea. What yall think

could clot, could hit the wrong thing, could pass out, could otherwise miss it because you've taken a lot of medication, could be found before dead, would hurt thus be difficult to surpass survival instinct even if intoxicated. It's all the same issues really.

edit to add: its not that its impossible its just super unreliable and incredibly painful

If you're gonna cut, carotid is definitely the target. But it's gonna be hard to cut all the way down to it. Most likely outcome is a big embarrassing scar on your neck.
