Dummy for exit bags

Dying from nitrogen asphyxiation is so very, very expensive.

Has anyone scoped out cheaper sources?

Like even a full tank from ebay is going to be around $450, has anyone found suitable options for less?

The hood is somewhere between 250 and 750 depending on what options I'm looking at, some of which idk if they are even suitable.

This isn't even counting the regulator, tubing, etc.

As things stand I'm going to have to save up for a year or two at my income to be able to die and I can't handle that being the case. I need this shit to end. Is there any way to reduce it to <$600 total to where it will only take me a few months of saving?

It's really important to me that this happens soon.

Thanks!!!

You only need a small bottle, in the UK 9l at 137bar - whatever your equivalent might be.

9l x 137 bar = 1233l

1233l / 15 lpm = 82 minutes

You would surely find a better price calling around some welding supply stores.

Also, you don't need a hood, just a large bag. Turkey basting bags are often stated but I don't like the idea of them. There's actually a thread here about normal heavy gauge bags which you can easily buy on the well known emporium. The 2nd post has detailed instructions for making an exit bag.

Search for a 5 mil brining bag in a suitable size. Probably a pack of 10 but still hugely cheaper than a hood.

Imperative you buy a flow gauge style regulator.

In addition to Galahad's reply outlining that it's not excessively expensive, I would be careful on trying to make things cheap. Suicide attempts can have a high failure rate as is, and trying to cut corners might work against you. If one particular method isn't in your budget, I would look at other methods instead of trying to cut corners.

I'm in the US and I got my whole setup for under $250. I bought a 40cf empty tank on Amazon for $160 and exchanged it for a full one for $40 at a local store. Regulator was about $40 on Amazon as well. I know your location can limit your options though, best of luck.
