I bought gas but I didn't know if the concentration and amount was enough. Compressed Argon, I think it was.

I remember I couldn't figure out how to calculate nthe amount in terms of litres and bar

Cylinder water capacity * pressure (bar). So a 9 liter cylinder has about 1800 liters of gas at 200bar.

9 litres @ 200 bar should be sufficient.

I guess I just don't put enough stake in my own handiwork to gamble ending up with permanent brain damage if I were to fail

There is no suffocation feeling with inert gas. It is the whole point of that method.

I understand, unfortunately that is the downside to the method.
There is no suffocation feeling with inert gas. It is the whole point of that method.
In your opinion, what are the chances of ripping the bag off after reaching unconsciousness? I know its recommended to hyperventilate just before pulling the bag down. This is the biggest thing that worries me.
